The Chiropractic Treatment

Chiropractic Treatment can consists of adjustments to the spine and/or limbs, postural exercises, recommendations for home and work, kinesio taping.

Chiropractic treatment consists of three stages:

1.Inicial  Intensive Care:

At this stage the main focus is to reduce symptoms by giving mobility to the vertebrae and joints in areas where there are subluxations (misaligned vertebrae), stimulating and removing the pressure on the nervous system. By restoring normal function, vertebrae and other joints begin their recovery. During this phase, sessions will be more frequent to reduce symptoms quickly. If the majority of patients are positive changes since the first visits, others need a longer period, depending on the nature, severity or age of the problem.

2. Stabilization Care or Corrective Care:

The objective of this phase will be responsible for correcting the initial problem subluxations and rebalance the spine and the musculo-skeletal apparatus. At this stage there is the real stabilization and rehabilitation of the organism. It improves and strengthens the nervous system, which in turn is the base of our health. The improvement is most evident at both the pain and mobility or flexibility.

3. Wellness or Maintenance Care:

After regaining maximum functioning of the spine, started the maintenance phase. We are exposed to certain levels of both physical and mental stress of daily life (stress, poor posture, falls, emotional stress etc.), Some people needed a booster treatment or regular maintenance visits to ensure continuity in their welfare and not relapse into old and new diseases. Each chiropractic adjustment helps keep your nervous system in top shape, giving vitality to all organs, tissues and cells of the body. In general, people in chiropractic maintenance opt for a life of wellness, preventing many health problems.
